2. What information we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and run this website:
- Enquiry details you submit through our contact form: your name, company, work email, phone number, event/project date, location, the services you’re interested in, and any message you write.
- Communications you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or when booking a call.
- Technical & usage data collected automatically by our hosting and privacy-friendly analytics: IP address (processed transiently), device/browser type, pages viewed and referring page.
- Consent preferences you set in the cookie banner, stored locally in your browser.
We do not intentionally collect special-category data, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
3. How we use your information & our lawful bases
We process your personal data for the following purposes, each with a lawful basis under Article 6 UK GDPR:
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential project — lawful basis: legitimate interests (and steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract).
- To provide our services if you become a client — lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To operate, secure and improve the website and understand aggregate usage — lawful basis: legitimate interests.
- To comply with legal obligations (e.g. accounting and tax) — lawful basis: legal obligation.
- For any non-essential cookies/analytics where required — lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law — such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses — to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for our legitimate business records — typically up to 24 months from our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we retain records for the duration of our relationship and for as long as required by law (for example, tax records are generally kept for 6 years). We then securely delete or anonymise it.
8. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- be informed about how we use your data (this policy);
- access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@atproductions.tv. We will respond within one month. You will not usually have to pay a fee.
9. How to complain
If you have concerns about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can help. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. For anything else, see our Terms & Conditions or get in touch.
